A gentle, uplifting audio story that helps children discover that they can be kind, thoughtful and caring — while still speaking up for themselves.

Through the story of Maya, a child who often stays quiet because she doesn’t want to upset anyone, children are gently supported with:

🌱 Finding the confidence to speak up

🌱 Understanding that their feelings and opinions matter

🌱 Saying “no” or “please stop” when something doesn’t feel right

🌱 Asking for help from a trusted grown-up

🌱 Recognising the difference between being kind and always agreeing

🌱 Developing healthy boundaries and self-belief

🌱 Learning that they don’t need to be loud to make their voice heard

As Maya begins to listen to the quiet voice inside her, she discovers that speaking up doesn’t mean becoming bossy, difficult or unkind. Her voice can be gentle, clear and brave.

At the heart of the story is a simple message:

You can be kind and still speak. You can listen to others and still listen to yourself.

A warm, reassuring story for children who may find it difficult to say what they want, express uncomfortable feelings or ask for help; reminding them that their voice matters, even when it feels small or a little wobbly.
